Fall is here and so is a bunch of new TV! Here are some of the 'not to be missed' shows and their premiere dates:
Bionic Woman (NBC) Sept. 26
My Name Is Earl (NBC) Sept. 27
Office (NBC) Sept. 27
House (Fox) Sept. 25
Heroes (NBC) Sept. 24
Simpsons (Fox) Sept. 23
Family Guy (Fox) Sept. 23
Back To You (Fox) Sept. 19
Ghost Hunters (SciFi) Sept. 26
Sarah Silverman Program (CC) Oct. 3
South Park (CC) Oct. 3
Pushing Daisies (ABC) Oct. 3
I've seen the first episodes of both Pushing Daises and The Bionic Woman and both are very good.
Pushing Daises is highly stylized and masterfully executed. I wonder how it will fair with the average TV goer as shows like this never seem to do as well as they should (i.e. Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me). The casting is perfect and the production values are as high as any Hollywood movie. I highly recommend catching this one.
The Bionic Woman was a bit harder for me, as I grew up with the original 70's version. Michelle Ryan does a great job and it was surprising for me to learn that she's British as she pulls off an American accent really well. The action is pretty tight and it seems like they are aiming to take the show in interesting directions. I'll be DVR'ing this one to see how it goes. Despite that - it's still some of the better TV I've seen. Very high production values.
So stay tuned for more of the Bionic Woman's Michelle Ryan (pictured left) and more form this fall's TV lineup. See a longer, fuller list at: AiCN
