Thora Birch's Dad intrudes on sex scene

I don't know abouy you but it would be hard for me to have sex with a crew standing around as it is... but having my Dad watch and cheer me on? Granted, Thora Birch wasn't having ACTUAL sex on the set of her new film "The Winter Of Frozen Dreams" but still...

According to the NY Post, Thora was filiming a sex scene with Dean Winters when her Dad insisted on watching the scene, kicking the door down and threatening to pull Thora from the film.

Hah, I can't even imagine how embarrassing this would be.

Mulder and Scully: Will X-Files 2 Actually Happen?

Cinematical is reporting that David Duchovny has mentioned the X-Files sequel as being close to final negotiations. It's been almost 10 years since the first movie and the general consensus among fans is that the show ripped them off...

Duchovny isn't a stupid person. Of course he's going to throw out some answer when asked about X Files 2. It generates some press and keeps people talking about him. I doubt anyone has seriously discussed this sequel at the industry level in a long, long time. He's blowing steam knowing the press will run with it and they do... everytime.

The best X-Files episodes IMO were the ones that didn't further the Mythology along. I would watch a reboot of the show if they stayed away from the drawn out mythology stuff and stuck to a great sci-fi, each episode is it's own story' kind of deal.

They could even bring Scully (Gillian Anderson) back...

Paul Anderson NOT off Castlevania?

According to IGN, Anderson is not off Castlevania.... so we may yet get to see Sonia Belmont. As much as this film will probably blow ass - I'll watch it if Milla is in it. Hell I sat through Ultraviolet...

I also found this IGN article where Paul talks about Simon being a main character. This conflicts with the 'rumored' cast listing IMdB has here.

To Paul Anderson: Just cast Milla and all will be good.

Jessica Biel: I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry

The trailer for the gay marriage flick I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK & LARRY has hit the internets... and the best part? Jessica Biel appears in her underwear...

The movie also stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James. It will be interesting to see how well a gay marriage comedy does financially... considering it's Sandler and the premise is hokey, it will probably do very well.

I'd already see any movie Sandler was in but Biel is drool worthy. Jessica Biel's ass alone could bring about world peace. If you haven't already, I HIGHLY recommend checking her out in The Illusionist.

Paul Anderson off Castlevania Adaptation: Would Milla Jovavich have been Sonia Belmont?

I'm reading this morning that Paul Anderson (Resident Evil, Event Horizon) is no longer attached to direct the video game to movie adaptation of Castlevania.

This is great news to me - as much as I would have loved to see how he would have written in Milla Jovavich, I just can't bare to watch as one of the best games ever was hacked to death on screen in some odd-ball b-movie Dracula rip-off....

ComingSoon.net reports: "Anderson's Castlevania script spanned many time periods but mostly took place in 15th century Transylvania. It was a fresh take on the much-filmed Dracula legend, mining back to its genesis in the story of the Romanian prince Vlad the Impaler."

I'd rather see this project die completely like Halo, than to see it done incorrectly. This game series would only benefit from high production values and top notch writing... otherwise what is the point?

Still, my mind wanders back to Milla... would Anderson have gotten rid of Simon Belmont and replaced him with an ass kicking female vampire hunter? Imdb.com lists a "Sonia Belmot" character and no Simon...

I gotta admit on some level I enjoy his Resident Evil series - they're great 80's style b-movie zombie flicks... but I credit this to Milla 100%.

I could watch her just make toast for 2 hours.

Julianne Moore: Children of Men DVD coming this Tues!

Evangeline Lilly: Girls of LOST - Part One

Recently it's become a fad to Lost-Bash. I'm assuming it's Titanic syndrome... something that is so popular passes that threshhold were it ends up just as ridiculed as it was originally praised. It becomes fun to hate it... even though it's still widely enjoyed. LOST's ratings are low compared to first season but the show still beats out CSI:NY, 24 and it's direct competitor in geek circles - Heroes.

Elisha Cuthbert: BANNED Captivity Poster and pics

Captivity, a new horror/thriller movie from Roland Joffé (Super Mario Bros) starring the incredibly sexy Elisha Cuthbert (24) unleashed an ad campaign that has taken things way too far for some people... the ad depicts Elisha's character getting tortured and killed.

Given how absolutley violence hungry America has become, I think I'm more shocked that people actually compained about this poster than I am about the images on it. I mean look at what the news and media put in front of us everyday... are people really shocked by this poster? The number 1 movie the past two weeks is nothing but violence (Frank Miller's 300) and all we ever hear about lately is the Iraq War...

Lionsgate has promised to remove the billboard but they're being slow. I read the treatment and a review of the flick and I gotta say, this ad campaign is probably the only way they would drive people to see this movie. No such thing as bad publicity.... doesn't hurt having a really hot lead actress as well! Meh... now for Elisha's sexy pics...
